Terms of service

Last updated 31 August 2026

The agreement between you and Bazaria — and the separate one between you and a seller.

Draft — not yet legally reviewed

This wording describes how Bazaria actually works, but it has not been checked by a lawyer and is not legal advice. It must be reviewed before the marketplace takes real orders.

These terms govern your use of the Bazaria.xyz marketplace. By creating an account, placing an order, or listing a product, you accept them.

The single most important thing to understand: Bazaria is a marketplace, not a shop. We connect buyers with independent sellers. When you buy something, the sales contract is between you and that seller.

1. What Bazaria is

Bazaria provides the platform: the catalogue, the checkout, the payment routing and the tools sellers use to fulfil orders. Sellers list their own products, set their own prices, and are responsible for the goods, their description, their legality and their delivery.

We are not the seller and we do not own the goods. We do set and enforce marketplace rules, and we can remove listings or suspend sellers who break them.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a contract.
  • The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity under your account.
  • One account may shop, sell and buy for a business. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.

3. Placing an order

Listing a product is an invitation to buy, not an offer. Your order is an offer to the seller, and the contract forms when the seller accepts it.

A basket containing items from several sellers becomes several separate contracts — one per seller. Each is fulfilled, delivered and, if necessary, cancelled or refunded on its own.

We re-check prices and availability at checkout. If something has changed, we will tell you before you pay rather than charging a different amount.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and include VAT where it applies.
  • Wholesale prices depend on quantity and on your business account's price tier, and are subject to any minimum order quantity the seller sets.
  • You may pay only by the methods offered at checkout for your order. Availability depends on the order value and whether it is a retail or wholesale purchase.
  • Cash on delivery is offered only on retail orders below a limit we publish at checkout, and payment is collected by the courier.
  • Approved business accounts may buy on credit and settle on invoice, within the limit and terms agreed with us.

5. Delivery

Delivery estimates are exactly that. Because each seller ships separately, one order can arrive in several parcels on different days, each with its own tracking.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, raise a return rather than accepting it as complete.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

  • You may cancel any part of an order the seller has not yet begun packing.
  • After delivery you have 7 days to raise a return, against the individual seller's part of the order.
  • The seller reviews the request and either approves it, telling you where to send the goods, or declines with a reason.
  • Refunds are issued once the seller has received the goods back. Approval alone does not trigger a refund.
  • Nothing here reduces any rights you have under Bangladeshi consumer protection law.

7. Business accounts

  • Business accounts are granted at our discretion after verification, and can be suspended if the information supporting them changes.
  • Credit limits and payment terms are set by us and may be reviewed at any time. Invoices are due on the terms shown on the order.
  • A quote accepted through a request for quotation forms a contract with that seller at the quoted price.
  • Where your account sets a spend approval threshold, orders above it are not sent to the seller until an authorised approver signs them off.

8. Selling on Bazaria

These additional terms apply if you sell on the marketplace.

  • You must be legally entitled to sell what you list, and your listings must be accurate, lawful and not misleading.
  • You may not list counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited goods. We may remove any listing without notice.
  • We charge commission per order at the rate applying to the product's category. The rate in force when an order is confirmed applies to that order; later changes are not applied retrospectively.
  • Commission is charged on the goods. Delivery charges collected from the buyer are passed to you in full.
  • Earnings are credited when an order is delivered and become payable after a hold period that covers the buyer's return window. We may withhold a payout where there is an open dispute, return or suspected fraud.
  • You must fulfil accepted orders within the dispatch time you publish, and handle returns in line with these terms.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, licences and regulatory obligations.
  • We may suspend or close a seller account for repeated cancellations, late dispatch, poor buyer outcomes or breach of these terms. Orders already placed must still be fulfilled.

9. Reviews, messages and content

Reviews must reflect a genuine purchase. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights, and do not offer or accept incentives for a review.

You keep ownership of what you post, and grant us a licence to display it on the marketplace. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

10. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to gain access to accounts, data or systems you are not entitled to.
  • Do not scrape, overload or interfere with the service.
  • Do not use the marketplace to launder money, evade tax, or for any unlawful purpose.

11. Intellectual property

The Bazaria name, logo and the platform itself belong to us. Product images and descriptions belong to the sellers who posted them or their licensors. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.

12. Our liability

Because the sales contract is with the seller, we are not liable for the quality, safety, legality or delivery of goods sold through the marketplace. We are liable for our own failures in operating the platform.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

13. Suspending or closing accounts

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Obligations already incurred — paying for an order, fulfilling one, settling an invoice — survive closure.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to it. We will publish changes here and tell you directly when they are significant.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If something goes wrong, contact us first — most problems are resolved faster directly than formally.
